Risk that the competitive advantages of NHP (non-human primate) studies as a testing method and demand for contract testing will decline as MPS (microphysiological systems) and other in vitro alternatives to animal testing advance and become more widely adopted. This is an initiative to commercialize the introduction of, and contract services using, alternative methods as a response.
