A specific project to expand the Battery Research Institute in Niihama, Ehime Prefecture, and develop a second development building and research facilities for the development of next-generation nickel cathode materials and cathode materials for all-solid-state batteries. The project covers the period from the originally scheduled completion in 2022 through completion and the start of operations in 2025.
