An initiative to acquire Embraco from Whirlpool, expand the product lineup and sales regions for refrigerator compressors, and strengthen business competitiveness by leveraging DC technology, brushless DC motor technology and joint procurement. Following the acquisition, the company will also expand into the freezer, air-conditioning and heat pump markets.
