An initiative under 6615’s three-year medium-term management plan, with fiscal 2018 as its first year, to promote collaboration with Hitachi, Ltd., expand new projects, pursue local production for local consumption in Asia and the Americas, and roll out LCA across all sites. The plan was later reworked into a revitalization plan, under which the company pursued site reorganization, cost reductions, procurement rationalization, and reinforcement of its financial base through a third-party allotment capital increase.
