An initiative launched in connection with the production of medals for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games to raise awareness of and promote metal recovery from small appliances and other sources, contributing to higher collection rates in urban mining recycling. This also includes the achievement of using recovered metal in the actual medals for the Games.
