An initiative to develop and bring into mass production and supply a new material for titanium aluminide aircraft engine blades through near-net-shape (NNS) design, air casting and alloy improvements. The initiative aims to diversify material procurement, shorten lead times, reduce environmental impact, and expand the supply share under a contract with SAFRAN.
