A medium-term theme under which 8018 will use its 100th founding anniversary as an opportunity to shift from structural reform and prudent management to a more proactive management approach, while advancing 5 initiatives: strengthening overseas operations, existing domestic businesses, asset utilization, new business areas, and corporate value and CSR. The theme also includes a downward revision to the final-year targets of the Second Medium-Term Management Plan.
