A disaster event during a specific period in which railway facilities and other infrastructure were damaged by the July 2017 Northern Kyushu torrential rains, resulting in restoration costs and suspension of services on the Hita-Hikosan Line. It also includes post-disaster restoration policies, such as agreement on restoration using BRT.
