A specific project to expand the railway network linking the area around Osaka Station and Shin-Osaka through the extension of the Osaka Higashi Line to Shin-Osaka and the opening of the new Umekita underground station. It also covers progress on the construction and development of a new station accompanying development of the west side of Osaka Station.
