An initiative to demonstrate in orbit, using ELSA-d, rendezvous and proximity operations (RPO) with satellites, the transition from absolute to relative navigation, autonomous control, and magnetic capture technology. It also includes in-orbit operational validation of the full range of technologies required for in-orbit servicing and space debris removal.
