Expansion of CMOS image sensor production sites through the acquisition of Toshiba semiconductor-related facilities

A specific business infrastructure development plan to acquire semiconductor-related facilities and equipment from Toshiba, establish a new production site for CMOS image sensors, and expand that site. This was a time-bound initiative pursued during 2016–2017, when the acquisition was completed and the site was developed for production.
