Population decline driven by rising rates of non-marriage, later marriage and declining birth rates

The risk that Japan’s population decline and declining birthrate will become structurally more severe as improvements in the number of births and the birthrate are delayed by the decline in the number and rate of marriages, along with more people remaining unmarried and marrying later.
