The SSL/digital certificate business depends on external certificate authorities’ root CA infrastructure, the Cybertrust brand and certificate authority software, and is exposed to the impact of using other companies’ CAs during the transition period and of policy changes. While the company is transitioning to its own root CA, dependence on external infrastructure will remain until the transition is complete.
