An initiative to validate and commercialize KYC and other services for financial institutions using customer information held by general electricity transmission and distribution utilities. The legality of the initiative has been confirmed under Japan’s Regulatory Gray Zone Clearance System, and multiple proof-of-concept projects are underway.
