An initiative to develop renovation technologies for the common and private areas of existing multi-unit residential buildings, enabling residents to remain in place while extending the buildings’ service lives, improving seismic resilience and upgrading their functions. It also includes renovation construction technologies for multi-unit residential buildings, such as methods for shortening the construction period of large-scale high-rise renovation projects.
