Enstructure announced that it had acquired the terminal and stevedoring businesses of Logistec, a company headquartered in the United States. Blue Wolf Capital Partners will continue to provide investment support to the combined company.
Following the acquisition, Enstructure's terminal network is expected to expand across the United States and Canada. The combined company will operate 106 terminals and facilities, of which 80 to 90 will have come from Logistec.
The company will provide not only terminal operations and stevedoring, but also warehousing, trucking and logistics services, establishing a platform capable of handling a diverse range of cargo, including containers and breakbulk. It is also involved in advancing the Edgemoor Container Terminal and is targeting annual handling capacity of approximately 1.2 million TEUs.
Separately, Logistec held a 25% interest in the Termont container terminal in Montreal and remained a shareholder until early 2025.
