At the same time, Axelspace Holdings Corporation (headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo) and Pacific Consultants Co., Ltd. announced that they had entered into a memorandum of understanding concerning a business partnership aimed at resolving issues in the social infrastructure sector through the use of satellite data.
Under the MOU, the two companies plan to advance the planning, research and development of new technologies and services using satellite data in Japan and overseas; demonstrations and deployment in society of disaster prevention and infrastructure management initiatives; collaboration on the formation of projects, proposal activities, public relations and sales that contribute to the use of satellite data; and the use of Axelspace’s satellite technologies and services.
This indicates Pacific Consultants’ intention to strengthen the development of solutions in the social infrastructure sector centered on the use of satellite data, as well as a partnership aimed at expanding Axelspace’s space data business.
