The DAISO compression bag, size M, and CAN DO CO.,LTD.’s travel compression case, size M, are both priced at ¥440. They are described as having the same dimensions, 25cm × 35cm × 10.5cm, the same polyester material and the same structure.
The test involved placing 20 thin colored towels and 4 thick towels into the front and back storage compartments, packing them separately, and trying to close the zipper.
The zipper moved smoothly through the first corner, but once the entire bag began to close, the contents became too bulky, making it difficult to guide the zipper through the second and third corners. In the end, there were situations in which it was difficult to close the zipper completely.
The comparison found that storage capacity is high, but that some technique is needed to make full use of the actual capacity. Even products with almost identical sizes and structures may feel different in use.
