アキヤ株式会社 and 一般社団法人国際連携推進協会 have launched a business partnership to support housing arrangements for foreign workers. The association’s network will be used to accelerate the process of securing housing at worksites receiving foreign workers.
The partnership addresses challenges including the burden of initial move-in costs and preparing furniture and appliances. By acquiring and revitalising vacant homes and converting them into company housing, the partners also aim to improve safety and hygiene in local communities. Housing needs will be addressed through the network spanning Japan.
As part of the partnership, “アキヤのクルスム,” a housing service, will be offered first to supervisory organisations, registered support organisations and host companies, with the aim of quickly securing housing based on the work location, number of occupants and move-in date. The standard terms are no security deposit, key money or brokerage fee, and housing equipped with furniture and appliances.
