An online seminar will be held covering the South Korean government’s Next Project and the latest developments in AI, with examples of collaboration between Japanese companies and South Korean startups.
The seminar will be hosted by the Japan Association of New Economy and aims to achieve Japan Transformation. This year, South Korea outlined its national strategic technologies in 10 fields and 55 technologies under the Next Project, setting out a policy to secure world-leading capabilities by 2030 and achieve technology leadership by 2040. The seminar will feature an explanation by KOTRA of the Next Project as a whole, the latest developments in AX promotion, and the current state of the startup ecosystem, which is accelerating under government leadership. Examples of collaboration between Japanese companies and South Korean startups will also be presented, with a focus on practical know-how for Japan-Korea open innovation.
The speakers will include Park Geum-ran (朴 金蘭) of the KOTRA Tokyo Trade Center and Fukaya Wataru (深谷 航) of IPIN LABS Japan, which promotes the expansion of South Korean startups in the Japanese market.
