In the 2026 drugstore sales rankings, the newly formed ツルハHD took the top spot, while スギホールディングス became the latest chain to reach ¥1 trillion in sales. The rankings shifted as a result of business integrations among the leading companies.
In the 2026 drugstore sales ranking, Tsuruha Holdings took first place after completing its business integration with Welcia Holdings in 2025. Consolidated sales for the fiscal year ended February 2026 were ¥1.4505 trillion, net profit was ¥42.6 billion, and the sales forecast for the fiscal year ending February 2027 was ¥2.555 trillion.
