primeNumber has begun selling its cloud ETL service TROCCO through the new Integrated SaaS Applications category on Snowflake Marketplace, becoming the first Japanese company to do so. The offering provides a way to integrate with the Snowflake data platform.
primeNumber announced on 20 August that it had begun selling its cloud ETL service TROCCO as the first Japanese company in Snowflake Marketplace's new Integrated SaaS Applications category. The new category covers external SaaS applications and enables secure connections, data reading and data ingestion.
TROCCO connects directly and securely to Snowflake accounts, simplifying data management. Users can purchase it within their contracted usage limits in the Snowflake environment, with billing handled by Snowflake. The company says users can quickly build data pipelines and begin aggregating the data needed to make use of AI.
TROCCO can be connected easily and securely to approximately 200 services in Japan and overseas, and has been adopted by more than 2,500 companies and organizations. The company says its track record of providing connectors for Snowflake led to its listing in the Integrated SaaS Applications category in Japan.
The service is being offered through Snowflake Marketplace, with purchases expected to be made within existing capacity agreements. No authorization is required to view the purchasing function, and search and purchasing can be carried out in the Snowflake environments typically used by data teams.
