Rheos Capital Works President Yuasa Mitsuhiro (湯浅光裕) said, “It is not too late at all to start investing now,” and expressed his intention to promote asset management with a view to the Nikkei Stock Average potentially rising to ¥150,000 over the long term. He also discussed how his company could contribute to making that a reality.
At the same time, he pointed out that just under half of household financial assets remain in cash and deposits, and that this trend has not changed despite the rise in stock prices. He said that if those assets had been invested, Japan’s global presence and household wealth would have grown further. He also expressed his commitment to promoting financial literacy through education.
President Yuasa Mitsuhiro (湯浅光裕) said he wants to become an organization that delivers positive impacts and results for society. He added that, over the long term, he hopes to support asset formation across Japan and play a role in realizing Japan as an asset-management nation.
