JCB and OLTA have begun collaborating in the factoring business and will integrate OLTA's cloud factoring into Cashmap via API. The integration is targeted to begin by the end of fiscal 2026, enabling Cashmap users to apply for factoring starting from an invoice.
JCB of Japan and OLTA announced that they have begun a new collaboration in the factoring business. The companies aim to begin integration by the end of fiscal 2026 as “embedded factoring,” incorporating OLTA cloud factoring into Cashmap via API.
This initiative will enable Cashmap users to apply for factoring seamlessly from invoices they have registered or created, converting accounts receivable into cash before their due dates. Factoring will be available alongside invoice card payments and online lending on Cashmap.
Cashmap is a cash-management and cash-flow improvement portal for small and medium-sized businesses and sole proprietors. It provides visibility into cash inflows and outflows, future simulations and connections to financing providers. OLTA's embedded factoring is planned to be the first offering on Cashmap.
To use factoring, users proceed with an application after preparing the relevant invoice, company information and account statements. OLTA will handle screening, receivables purchases and collection management, providing a service that combines the application process on Cashmap with OLTA's operating infrastructure.
