Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka appointed Takagi Kiyoshi (高木潔) as president effective 1 June. Against the backdrop of the B.League's reorganization this season and the opening of a new arena, the club expressed its intention to attract a more passionate fan base.
Takagi Kiyoshi (高木潔) is from Osaka and supported the Kintetsu Buffaloes as a boy. Looking back on his childhood, he said that he traveled little because his father was busy, among other factors, but that he enjoyed looking at maps.
After joining HIS in 1986 and becoming involved in the global expansion of its stores, he served as managing director of Huis Ten Bosch in Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture, from 2013. In 2017, he went independent and established a consulting company.
He is currently involved in the development of commercial facilities and hotels based on Island City, an artificial island in Fukuoka City. He has been entrusted with leading the club's management in the first year of structural reform in the B.League.
