ZENSHO HOLDINGS CO., LTD. announced consolidated results for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027. Revenue was ¥324.808 billion, operating profit was ¥24.815 billion, ordinary profit was ¥23.762 billion and net profit for the quarter was ¥15.172 billion, with all four figures showing substantial year-on-year increases. The company also explained that its revised full-year forecast had been revised upward, while lower raw material costs and higher expenses had affected results.
Global Hama-Sushi's revenue and operating profit exceeded those of the flagship Sukiya business. Hama-Sushi expanded to 914 locations. Global Sukiya remained larger in scale, with 2,656 locations, but the gap in profit levels continued to widen.
By segment, Global Hama-Sushi reported revenue of ¥93.515 billion and operating profit of ¥8.808 billion, while Global Prepared Foods reported revenue of exactly ¥48.1 billion and operating profit of ¥8.567 billion, among other figures. Although trends in raw material prices and higher expenses, including labor costs, had an impact, the group as a whole maintained its pace of revenue and profit growth.
Shareholders holding 100 or more shares receive benefit discount vouchers twice a year, comprising ¥500 coupons. The record dates are the end of March and the end of September. The next record date is 30 September, with 28 September being the last day to buy shares with rights attached and 29 September the ex-rights date. Shareholders holding 100 shares can expect benefits worth a total of ¥2,000 for the September and March record dates.
The vouchers can be used at a wide range of locations, including Sukiya, Hama-Sushi, Nakau, Coco's and Jolly-Pasta. The applicable locations and conditions should be confirmed on the official website.
