On 25 September 2026, Lexus announced that it would begin overseas sales of the LY680 luxury yacht. The LY680 was unveiled in March 2026 and will be rolled out to overseas markets after sales begin in Japan. Its appearance at a US boat show is scheduled for late October to early November.
The LY680 is a yacht with an overall length of approximately 68 feet. Compared with its predecessor, the LY650, its outdoor flybridge space is approximately 1,400 mm longer, while the swimming platform, the stern connection to the water, has been extended by approximately 700 mm. The design therefore places emphasis on onboard comfort and a sense of openness at sea.
The price in Japan is ¥770 million, and the same amount is listed on a Danish introduction page. However, prices for overseas sales in individual countries have not been announced, and the article points out that the Japanese price should be viewed as a reference.
Production of the LY680 will be handled by Horizon Group, while Lexus is responsible for its design and experience design. Manufacturing methods for yachts that apply the Toyota Production System have also been adopted.
The overseas launch is positioned as part of the brand's efforts to connect experiences involving cars, the sea and the sky. The yacht is scheduled to be exhibited at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in Florida, US.
