“AI Ishikawa-san,” enabling approximately 300 employees to ask 24 hours a day, “How would Ishikawa-san think about this?”, has been launched. The initiative, which trains the AI on President Ishikawa’s decision-making criteria, was announced as a way to turn individual knowledge into a shared organisational asset.
株式会社THA announced that it had introduced an “AI President” at FCE Inc. and developed a dedicated AI, “AI Ishikawa-san,” trained on President Junetsu Ishikawa’s (石川淳悦) way of thinking, thought processes and communication style. Based on President Ishikawa’s decision-making criteria, AI Ishikawa-san will be used as a day-to-day sounding board and made available to approximately 300 FCE Inc. employees.
AI Ishikawa-san will learn FCE Inc.’s “OS”, including The 7 Habits, the Value Book and DIPS, as well as the values and approaches to work that the company considers important. Through this AI, the company aims to provide an environment in which employees can ask, 24 hours a day, how President Ishikawa would think about an issue.
The AI President’s features include training on President Ishikawa’s thinking, values and communication style; advice based on FCE Inc.’s OS; a 24-hour consultation desk; and the realisation of “collective genius” to support organisational growth. The AI integrates searches of internal knowledge with the articulation of the company’s values, with the aim of providing in-depth answers.
The initiative is intended to link employee growth to organisational capabilities and maximise both individual growth and the organisation’s human capital. It also aims to increase opportunities for younger employees to encounter high performers’ thinking from an early stage. THA explained that AI Ishikawa-san embodies FCE Inc.’s principles and President Ishikawa’s thought processes, promoting the strengthening of the organisation from within.
