TISI Co., Ltd. of the TIS INTEC Group has invested in FaceHeart’s contactless vital-sign monitoring AI technology. It is advancing business development in the Japanese market and has begun verification using CardioMirror, which won an award at CES.
On 6 November 2026, TISI invested in FaceHeart’s AI technology, which can measure vital data such as heart rate without contact using smartphone camera footage. Through the investment, TISI aims to create new services for preventive healthcare and everyday health management.
FaceHeart Vitals from FaceHeart uses rPPG technology to analyze changes in skin color from facial video and measure heart rate and respiratory rate. It has obtained FDA 510(k) clearance and is provided in SDK format, which is described as making it easy to integrate into existing applications and systems.
As an in-office demonstration, TISI installed FaceHeart’s AI-enabled smart mirror CardioMirror at its headquarters and Toyosu office, creating an environment in which visitors and employees can be measured simply by standing in front of the mirror. Going forward, TISI will consider collaborations in corporate health management, care facilities and local governments, leveraging its customer base of more than 4,500 companies.
