Alongside announcing its new Z5IIC product, Nikon released special content featuring works and interviews by 8 creators. Over approximately 1 month, it is offering opportunities to see, touch and learn through a combination of hands-on product experiences, classes and events.
Nikon announced its full-frame mirrorless camera “Z5IIC” and released special content highlighting the product’s appeal. The campaign features works capturing everyday moments by a diverse range of creators, including not only photographers but also a wood-fired bread baker and a graphic designer.
During the campaign, Nikon Plaza Tokyo and Nikon Plaza Osaka will host exhibitions of the works and hands-on touch-and-try sessions with the actual camera. The venues are designed to allow visitors to view the works and try operating the camera in the same location.
Talk events are scheduled for 10 October in Tokyo and 24 October in Osaka. A special hands-on class by the Nikon College photography school is scheduled for 25 October, with 1 camera provided for each participant for operating instructions and photography practice.
After the new product launch, Nikon will also develop 2 waves of engagement through social media. Instagram will run a campaign from the launch date, while X will run one from 23 October, including promotional giveaways, with the aim of turning post-experience sharing into purchase consideration.
