TRE Holdings has announced a new five-year Medium-Term Management Plan 2030. In addition to strengthening its existing businesses, the company has adopted enhanced coordination across the holding company as a new basic strategy. It plans to accelerate collaboration between the public and private sectors and between arterial and venous industries, while promoting M&A and capital and business alliances.
Specifically, the company will focus on strengthening resource recycling in Japan. It has secured approximately 330,000 square meters of business land in Ichihara, Chiba, and will gradually invest in equipment to improve the quality of ferrous scrap. It also plans to strengthen preprocessing and sorting equipment at its existing sites and consider establishing new sites.
Regarding overseas expansion, no negotiations have reached an agreement at this stage, but the company plans to consider entering markets when opportunities arise, primarily in Asia. It aims to establish a resource-recycling framework through M&A and partnerships in the recycling sector.
Following a review of its medium-term plan at the end of FY2021, the company is targeting final-year revenue of ¥135 billion and revenue of ¥300 billion in the 2030s. It aims to achieve both business stability and growth by combining a stable supply of high-grade scrap with the use of renewable energy.
