An introduction to the structure in which Imai Koki (今井康揮), in the first year after joining as a new graduate, is responsible for feature development and maintenance as the primary person in charge of ホットリンク’s advertising operations system. The article describes the overall structure of the operations system targeting X (formerly Twitter) and the flow of his day-to-day work.
Imai (今井) of the Development Department is responsible for providing social media marketing support through ホットリンク’s proprietary systems, and within a year of joining the company had come to handle a broad range of work, from feature development through maintenance. He is currently the primary person responsible for an advertising operations system targeting X, handling feature development supporting frontend development, data processing, batch processing, and the delivery process, as well as operational monitoring and maintenance.
Within the department, the department manager and general manager organize and assign tasks as project managers, while members in the field handle the actual design and coding. Work proceeds across multiple projects, including server maintenance, collaboration with other systems, and coordination with the R&D Department.
Imai says he chose ホットリンク when job hunting because of its corporate culture, which supports employees taking on challenges, its business activities, and his fit with the people he met during the interviews. After joining the company, he developed his ability to articulate ideas and learned logical thinking through activities such as morning meetings. In his first year after joining as a new graduate, he gained experience through small-scale modifications, and his future goal is to participate in launching a large-scale development project.
ホットリンク’s environment is considered attractive because it enables young employees to gain experience across a broad range of work and grow, and Imai enjoys serving as a link between the field and the systems. Initiatives that contribute to the growth of the organization as a whole, including sharing in-house expertise and exploring the use of AI, are expected to continue.
