HENNGE launched HENNGE Mesh Network, a new feature on its cloud security service HENNGE One. It is available under new plans dated 1 October, including HENNGE One Ultra.
HENNGE announced on 5 October that it had begun providing HENNGE Mesh Network, a new service on its cloud security service HENNGE One, from 1 October. The eligible new plans include HENNGE One Ultra, and the service is available under these plans.
HENNGE Mesh Network is a new service designed to fundamentally eliminate the vulnerabilities of conventional VPNs. By directly connecting devices through mesh-based encrypted communications, it eliminates VPN gateway equipment that could serve as an entry point for external attacks. This is described as making the company's infrastructure "stealthy" against scanning and hacking.
The service includes microsegmentation, enabling communications coverage to be controlled in detail through software. It also restricts access by identity or group based on the principle of least privilege. The design is described as preventing the spread of damage to other servers or devices even if a device is infected with malware.
Access permissions can be configured and managed through an intuitive web administration console. The service also emphasizes a function that immediately locks an identity on the identity management side and removes its network access rights when an employee leaves the company or suspicious behavior is detected.
