On 16 October 2026, Ryobi Group established Forustra Partners & Co., a new company for its FA business. This marks the group's first FA business, which will support the growth strategies of external companies.
Ryobi Group announced on 16 October 2026 that it had established Forustra Partners & Co., an FA advisory firm that supports corporate M&A as a financial adviser. The new company marks the group's first foray into the FA business and is expected to support the growth strategies and enhancement of corporate value of external companies.
The name Forustra is derived from “For you, Strategy,” expressing the concept of providing M&A strategies for clients. The company intends to propose the optimal execution strategy for each engagement and pursue a better future together with its clients. Representative Director and Managing Director Akihiro Nakazono (中園章寛) has 22 years of experience in FA services at investment banks, securities companies and accounting firms.
Nakazono (中園) also oversees Ryobi Group's investment strategy and is able to provide advice with post-investment value creation in mind, the company explained. At the same time, it places priority on independence for each engagement and intends to put clients' interests first by implementing information barriers within the group. Its services will cover the full M&A process, including process design, structuring considerations, quantitative terms analysis and negotiation strategy development.
Nakazono (中園) said he would pursue engagements with an emphasis on high-value-added advice and expressed his desire to provide high-quality advice to clients nationwide, including in western Japan. The new company said it would leverage Ryobi Group's expertise and network while maintaining its independence to support the enhancement of client companies' corporate value.
