New winter holiday menu items made with Satsuma beef, a Kuroge Wagyu beef from Kagoshima Prefecture, have been announced. The featured dishes are “Satsuma Beef Hitsumabushi” and “Satsuma Beef Sukiyaki Udon,” each prepared with distinctive dashi and seasonings to offer three different ways to enjoy the dish.
“Satsuma Beef Hitsumabushi” is served in the hitsumabushi style as a menu item at dashi-chazuke restaurants, offering three combinations of flavors. It is priced at ¥1,720 including tax. Takeaway is unavailable at some locations, and drink sets and other options are not eligible.
“Satsuma Beef Sukiyaki Udon” is served as a menu item at udon restaurants and finished with homemade dashi, warishita sauce and a soft-boiled egg. It is priced at ¥1,790 including tax. A large size and takeaway are not available.
Sales are scheduled from 5 November to 25 December 2026 at nana's green tea locations nationwide, excluding selected locations. The dish will not be available at the Kansai International Airport Terminal 2 Building location, Dazaifu Sando location, Jiyugaoka location or Sunset Alley location.
