On 3 July 2026, TECHNO HORIZON CO.,LTD. conducted an Image-Processing Experience Program for students of Nagoya University of Economics Ichimura High School as part of a company visit program. Using smartphone photographs as the starting point, the program was structured to help students learn how image-processing technology works in connection with subjects studied at high school.
Students experienced functions available in image-editing software, including brightness adjustment, monochrome conversion, negative-positive reversal and sepia effects, and gained an intuitive understanding of how colors change through RGB calculations. They connected what they had learned with society and manufacturing, and expressed an interest in creating an album in the future to convey the school's appeal and image.
According to the survey results, approximately 86% of respondents said they were "very satisfied" with the program overall and approximately 13% said they were "satisfied." For the image-processing experience, approximately 86% said it was "very interesting" and approximately 13% said it was "interesting," resulting in positive feedback. Many students said they had gained a deeper understanding of how colors can change through numerical values and how mathematics and physics support technologies used in society.
Looking ahead, the company plans to develop educational programs that provide high school students who will lead the next generation with opportunities to experience technologies and careers in the real world, while taking into account developments at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
