和田興産 announced its results for the six months ended August 2026. Strong sales of real estate other than its core condominium business enabled results to exceed the initial plan, with revenue of ¥22.182 billion and net income of ¥962 million.
和田興産 announced its results for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2027. Revenue was ¥22.182 billion, roughly in line with the same period last year, while operating profit fell 25.7% to ¥2.049 billion, ordinary profit fell 38.2% to ¥1.425 billion, and interim net income fell 41.6% to ¥962 million. The company recorded an impairment loss of ¥301 million as an extraordinary loss. Because revenue from the core condominium business is recognised upon delivery, performance is affected by the timing of development.
By segment, condominium sales were ¥16.266 billion and segment profit was ¥1.482 billion, both substantially lower than in the same period last year. Meanwhile, other real estate sales grew sharply, with sales of ¥3.321 billion and segment profit of ¥551 million, driven by sales of 12 properties including rental condominiums. Detached housing returned to profitability, with 14 homes delivered, sales of ¥788 million and profit of ¥80 million. Residential rental income was ¥1.679 billion, with profit of ¥445 million.
The full-year forecasts remain unchanged at revenue of ¥46.000 billion, operating profit of ¥4.300 billion, ordinary profit of ¥3.000 billion and net income of ¥2.100 billion. The dividend is expected to be ¥32.00 per share at the end of the second quarter and ¥67.00 for the full year, compared with ¥72.00 in the previous fiscal year.
