SocioFuture has begun working with 青森みちのく銀行 to build a new model supporting the stable employment of foreign workers at local companies. The collaboration began on 14 September 2026, and Cogwill is scheduled to be provided to local companies.
Cogwill is a smartphone app designed to support users in their daily lives and at work, and includes an identity verification feature. As its first offering, it will provide two features: translation chat and Japanese learning cards to support Japanese-language study.
The translation chat displays multiple languages alongside Japanese, creating an environment in which group members can communicate in their native languages. With the Japanese learning cards, users can register vocabulary from conversations and check its pronunciation and written form, allowing conversations from their day-to-day work to be used as learning materials.
As part of measures to address labor shortages in Japan, the recruitment of specified skilled workers from overseas is expanding. The number of such workers is expected to reach a maximum of 805,000 over the next 5 years, while the total number of foreign workers is expected to reach approximately 3.05 million in 2030.
