アルケリス and its joint research partner will give an oral presentation at the 56th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Oral Implantology on research that quantified the reduction in lower-limb strain provided by the assist suit “アルケリス” by continuously measuring posture and load with IoT sensors. The corporate exhibition will also feature demonstrations of “アルケリス” and the “スタビシリーズ” standing rest for work performed while standing.
アルケリス株式会社 will give an oral presentation of joint research at the 56th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Oral Implantology. The study continuously measured operators’ posture and load during implant treatment using IoT sensors and quantitatively demonstrated the reduction in lower-limb strain provided by the assist suit “アルケリス.” The presentation is titled “Effectiveness of an assist suit in reducing lower-limb strain on operators during implant treatment,” with presentation number O-1-5-1, and is scheduled for 19 September.
At the corporate exhibition booth, the “スタビシリーズ” standing rest for work performed while standing will be exhibited alongside アルケリス, with proposals for use in dental-care settings. Demonstrations of the actual products and introductions to implementation examples are also scheduled.
This study uses a method of objectively measuring the assist suit’s support load and posture with IoT sensors. Based on findings obtained through a support program of the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Technology Research Institute, an incorporated administrative agency, it examines the possibility of quantifying and reducing the burden associated with prolonged standing work by dental-care professionals. The parties plan to continue joint research in clinical settings with a larger number of cases and operators, using the findings to clarify the actual burden and improve the products.
