The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has selected the Japan-Vietnam EPA Pre-Departure Japanese Language Training Program for Vietnamese nurse and certified care worker candidates for the sixth consecutive year. The training is scheduled to run from December 2026 through March 2028.
Meiko Network Japan, which operates the individual-instruction Meiko Gijuku tutoring schools, has been selected by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the sixth consecutive year as the implementing organization for a pre-departure Japanese language training program under the EPA. The program is for Vietnamese nurse and certified care worker candidates seeking employment in Japan. The training will be conducted during fiscal 2026 and fiscal 2027, from December 2026 through March 2028.
The training will take place at a facility selected by the Vietnamese government, in or near Hanoi. Its objectives are to help participants pass the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test N3, acquire knowledge and skills in Japanese-style nursing and care, and develop the ability to adapt to Japanese society and the workplace.
MEIKO NETWORK VIETNAM COMPANY LIMITED was established as the group's local Vietnamese entity and provides practical Japanese language education for people seeking employment locally. Its curriculum is designed to help participants develop Japanese language skills they can use in the workplace.
The partner organizations include Hanoi University, with which the company is working to strengthen support for Japanese language education through an educational cooperation agreement, and 社会医療法人愛仁会, with which it has entered into a comprehensive business partnership to promote employment support in Japan's nursing and care sectors.
