Saturday LIVE News Zigzag reports on its investigation into the trade in illegal information on the dark web. The broadcast introduced anonymous criminal groups and the sources of leaked information, and suggested that some of the information may have been leaked from Japanese companies.
The program was broadcast on 17 October 2026 and explains that it accessed the dark web to examine the actual state of trading in illegal information.
The program reported that anonymous, fluid criminal groups known as “Tokuryu” are carrying out theft, robbery, special fraud and other crimes nationwide, and traced the routes through which they obtain information.
With the cooperation of the Japan Hacker Association, the program examined the trade in illegal information in depth and also noted the possibility that the information may include data believed to have been leaked from Japanese companies.
The broadcast ran for 7 minutes, and the distribution period was announced as running until 18:59 on 20 October.
