エービーカーゴ is a logistics subsidiary based in Shinagawa, Tokyo, responsible for transportation in the heavy-vehicle division. The appointment of Nishiyama Chisato (西山知里) as president was announced as an internal personnel change, and the presidency changed on 23 March.
The new president, Nishiyama Chisato (西山知里), is from Ehime Prefecture. Nishiyama Chisato (西山知里) became involved in international supply chains through the export of fabric for an apparel manufacturer and obtained a customs broker qualification. After joining アサヒロジ in 2006, Nishiyama Chisato (西山知里) was involved in launching the customs brokerage business and worked in the sales planning division, before serving as head of sales planning from 2024 and becoming president.
The new president, Nishiyama Chisato (西山知里), stated that safety would be given top priority and that the company would thoroughly enforce systems designed to prevent accidents and strengthen safety measures, including the elimination of drunk driving. Nishiyama Chisato (西山知里) also aims to strengthen the organization by creating an environment in which the drivers who support its logistics operations want to work and introducing a fair evaluation system. The company currently operates 348 heavy trucks and plans to expand its scale going forward.
Given its position as part of the アサヒロジ Group, the company indicated its intention to continue leveraging its network to become a logistics company chosen by more customers.
