SQUEEZE and HULIC have entered into an equity and business alliance. Under the full support model, they will redevelop an office building in Ginza into a 41-room apartment hotel, targeting an opening in spring 2028.
SQUEEZE and HULIC have formed a strategic equity and business alliance in the hotel and tourism sectors, with HULIC planning to acquire approximately 5% of SQUEEZE’s issued shares. Through the alliance, the companies will jointly develop hotels using real estate owned and developed by HULIC, centered on SQUEEZE’s “full support” model. As their first collaboration project, they are proceeding with the redevelopment of an office building in Ginza into a 41-room apartment hotel. SQUEEZE will operate the property, with an opening targeted for around spring 2028.
The alliance aims to build a platform for the tourism industry, centered on three pillars: advancing DX for hotel operations, expanding the platform through new businesses, and utilizing real assets through real estate partnerships. Specifically, the companies will combine operational support using suitebook, an accommodation operations platform, with functions including AI revenue management, with the aim of maximizing profitability based on demand forecasts.
As their first project, the companies are proceeding with the redevelopment, in collaboration with HistoRy, of an office building in Ginza into a 41-room apartment hotel. SQUEEZE will operate the property, with an opening targeted for spring 2028.
