Komatsu Matere announced changes in its major shareholders on 28 October, reporting that Toray Industries had risen to No. 1 as of 30 September. The overseas investment fund that had previously been the largest shareholder is believed to have reduced its holding ratio.
Toray Industries continued to hold 3,749,367 shares, but its voting rights ratio rose from 9.85% to 10.1% as Komatsu Matere proceeded with its share buyback, moving Toray Industries from second to first place.
Meanwhile, SFP Value Realization Master Fund, which had been the largest shareholder during this period, has been gradually reducing its holding ratio.
