MabGenesis Co., Ltd. is a startup biotechnology company that researches and develops therapeutic monoclonal antibody drugs and owns one of the world's highest-quality phage display antibody libraries. Nippon Soda entered into a joint research agreement in September 2025 and a license agreement for an antibody to treat inflammatory diseases in cats in March 2026.
Looking ahead, Nippon Soda aims to create value through new businesses under its new medium-term management plan, "Kagaku de, Kagayaku. Stage Ⅲ," and has set a sales KPI for its new businesses, including animal health, for the fiscal year ending March 2030. The achievement of the milestone is described as an important step toward meeting the plan's objectives.
