Labrinth released a 3-hour 41-minute livestream showing him creating a song from scratch at an Apple retail store in Los Angeles using a touch-enabled MacBook Pro and Logic Pro.
Labrinth, a musician from the United Kingdom, used Apple’s new touch-enabled MacBook Pro for the YouTube livestream “Labrinth Live on Mac,” broadcast from Apple Tower Theatre in Los Angeles. The stream lasted 3 hours and 41 minutes and reportedly began at 1:00 p.m. Japan time on 5 November. The completed song is scheduled to be released on Apple Music next week, and a teaser video featuring a white box was shown during the stream.
Logic Pro supports touch operation of a keyboard, chord pads and drum pads through Multi-Touch, and Labrinth built the song by moving mixer controls on the screen with his fingers. He also answered questions from viewers while demonstrating the song-production process over an extended period.
Labrinth is a singer-songwriter from the United Kingdom who also works as a music producer. In addition to producing music for the drama “Euphoria,” he has released solo music and worked as a member of the group LSD. The stream focused on his playing the Logic Pro keyboard with his fingers and directly operating the on-screen mixer.

Japanese prices were announced at ¥499,800 and up for the 14-inch M5 Pro, ¥599,800 and up for the 16-inch M5 Pro, ¥769,800 and up for the 14-inch M5 Max, and ¥829,800 and up for the 16-inch M5 Max.
