The new operating profit forecast is ¥14.6 billion, or 2.6 times the previous fiscal year's result. This represents an increase of approximately 29% from the previous forecast.
The revision was supported by the passing through of higher raw-material costs and the effects of cost reductions. Strong sales of specialty gas products for semiconductors also contributed.
