テクマトリックス signed a distributor agreement with US-based Halcyon Tech and will begin selling Halcyon's ransomware protection platform. The offering features ransomware detection and recovery support, DXP and ROC coverage.
テクマトリックス announced on the 13th that it had signed a distributor agreement with US-based Halcyon Tech, which provides a security platform dedicated to ransomware protection. テクマトリックス will consequently begin selling Halcyon's products.
Halcyon is a protection platform that operates in combination with existing EPP and EDR/XDR solutions. It combines AI/ML trained on ransomware samples and tactics, techniques and procedures with behavioural detection to detect the behaviour of files, processes and attacks.
The platform provides multiple defensive functions for responding to ransomware attacks, including EDR tamper prevention, protection against BYOVD attacks and decryption support when encryption occurs. It also offers a recovery method that captures encryption keys to support data recovery, reducing reliance on backups alone.
The platform includes DXP functionality to address double-extortion attacks targeting the theft of confidential information, covering both sides of the attack chain. In addition, a ransomware operations centre (ROC) providing 24/7/365 coverage is included as standard to support threat response.
In summary, under its platform agreement with テクマトリックス, Halcyon will be offered as a solution to strengthen ransomware protection layers.
