Tech Japan became the first Japanese company to sign an MoU with IIT Madras on career support and recruitment collaboration. It is also expanding its recruitment network through new partnerships with IIT (BHU) Varanasi and KIIT.
Tech Japan entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with India’s prestigious IIT Madras on career support and recruitment collaboration with Japanese companies. This strengthens the company’s framework for supporting highly skilled IT talent in finding employment with Japanese companies through the Talendy platform.
Tech Japan also formed new partnerships with IIT (BHU) Varanasi and KIIT, bringing the total number of partner universities to 28. This expands the recruitment pipeline for Japanese companies and broadens access to opportunities for India’s top engineers.
The partnerships with each university cover support for students seeking employment in Japan, the promotion of internships, and the organization of recruitment events on campus. The aim is to secure talent by leveraging expertise in core engineering fields. Talendy is positioned as a platform connecting India’s top universities with Japanese companies.
Against a backdrop of Japan’s IT talent shortage shifting toward a mismatch of specialized skills, efforts to tap highly skilled talent in India are accelerating.
