The latest Version 3.5 of the cloud-based English news learning materials "ABLish" for high schools and universities is now available. The update enables users to view news, play audio and study vocabulary on the same screen, while consolidating assignment creation and reporting functions for teachers.
The latest Version 3.5 of ABLish is now available. Key improvements include changing the news list from a table view to a tile view, making it easier to select articles of interest by showing their subject area and opening lines. Articles are displayed in a drawer-style screen within the list page, where users can read the article, play audio and save content on the same screen.
A new feature allows users to select words in an article and register them in a vocabulary list together with their meanings. The vocabulary list can be opened from any screen, enabling users to study vocabulary while viewing the article.
For teachers, group-related functions have been consolidated, enabling assignments, reports and member checks to be handled on the same screen. Continuous playback, the audio player and assignment-setting usability have also been improved.
The materials use current news delivered 3 times a week for reading comprehension, audio learning, summarization and opinion-writing activities. Existing subscribers can use the latest version at no additional cost.
